2023 Pony (4th Grade) Football D2 City Champs

Our mission is to develop well-rounded young people who not only learn the fundamentals of football, but also the value of an education and the importance of practicing and living Gospel principles through their shared athletic experiences. Our program provides players with a unique opportunity to learn important lifetime lessons such as: honesty, discipline, teamwork, pursuit of personal and team excellence, respect of self and others, friendship and good sportsmanship. 

IHM is a member of the Greater Catholic Youth League (GCYL).  The GCYL is a city-wide Catholic football league.  There are 22 teams in the Greater Cincinnati area that range from small to large schools creating a competitive environment while maintaining neighborhood rivalries.  IHM's participation percentage is 43% and ranks amongst the highest in the GCYL.  

Football is open to students in grades K-8, and IHM typically fields teams at the following levels:

• Bandit (Kindergarten thru Grade 2)
• Pony (Grade 3 and Grade 4)
• Reserve (Grade 5 and Grade 6)
• Varsity (Grade 7 and Grade 8)

Depending upon registration levels, IHM may split levels into grade-level teams (i.e. if registration levels are high, IHM may field both a 5th Grade and 6th Grade team at the Reserve level).
