Beach FC's  Recreation program is community-based, where teams are formed by neighborhoods while playing other Recreation teams in-house. The Beach FC Recreation program is for all ages and skill levels for players from preschool to high school.

Why should I register for Beach FC's recreation program?

Beach FC’s recreation program is a great opportunity for all players who are new to the game of soccer or have been playing for years! Our goal is to provide every player the opportunity to experience the lifelong benefits of the sport of soccer in a safe environment that emphasizes enjoyment through skill development, team building, and community involvement.

Equipment Required/Recommended

• Soccer Ball
  • Size 3 for birth years 2020-2016
  • Size 4 for birth years 2015-2012
  • Size 5 for birth years 2011 and older
• Shin Guards/Socks to cover them
• Water
• Cleats (optional)

When is our season? When are practices? When is registration? When are games played?

Beach FC Recreation has two seasons – Fall and Spring, starting in early September and early March, respectively.

Practices are typically Monday through Friday in the evenings; however, this may vary depending on your coach’s availability.  Registration for Fall – April through mid-August. Registration for Spring – October through mid-February.

The Recreation Spring season will be from March 1, 2024 - April 27, 2024.

What can I expect to get out of the Recreation program?

Beach FC's Recreation program puts the emphasis on friendship, sportsmanship, and lays the foundation for the overall physical literacy of each athlete. We take pride in helping our players and coaches develop their skills through a fun and positive experience.

Where do we play and where do we practice?

Through the City of Virginia Beach and the City of Norfolk, our recreation program is allocated use of fields at elementary schools as practice sites. Practices are typically 1 to 2 times per week depending on the age level and/or the availability of the volunteer coach.

Each Saturday, we build our own soccer city for ages 3 through 11 at Williams Farm Park ( 5269 Learning Cir, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). For our Middle School and High School teams, games will be played at the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex (2276 Recreation Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23456).
